Being a Health and Safety Manager manages the participation in Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) inspections, providing inspectors with appropriate documents and identifying safety measures. Ensures projects are completed on time and within budget. Additionally, Health and Safety Manager acts as advisor to health and safety administration team regarding projects, tasks, and operations. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a Manager or Head of a Unit/Department. The Health and Safety Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. JOB SUMMARY
The Life Safety Coordinator will be responsible for servicing and maintaining CCH/ facilities life safety equipment and fixtures within the facilities. The Life Safety Coordinator will use acceptable work practices and follow hospital and departmental guidelines to maintain a safe and comfortable environment for patients, staff, and visitors. The role of the Life Safety Coordinator is to deliver technical procurement activities in a multidisciplinary capacity. This position provides technical advice, research, and procurement of engineering supply items for major projects, repairs, and compliance reporting for DNV. The Life Safety Coordinator provides leadership and direction to facility engineers, including department goals, work orders, preventive maintenance, and promoting teamwork. This position is responsible for maintaining all the facilities' locks and keys, including key cutting, pinning core, key control, and installation of all locks and door hardware.
