Health Education & Coaching Director provides supervision and direction to a team responsible for providing proactive healthcare education and coaching to plan members. Develops and implements various health education programs and materials designed for plan enrollees, employers, and providers. Being a Health Education & Coaching Director monitors, assesses, and reviews educational programs for effectiveness. Requires a bachelor's degree in a related area. Additionally, Health Education & Coaching Director typically reports to senior management. The Health Education & Coaching Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be a Health Education & Coaching Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. We are actively recruiting for a Registered Nurse (RN) for our Director of Behavioral Health position in Sullivan, Indiana. As a Director of Behavioral Health/RN, you will coordinate with the on-site Client Hospital to provide overall program direction for outpatient adult and senior psychiatric units.You will also ensure high quality, high utilization, and adherence to both Signet Health and hospital policies, procedures, and plans.
Your specific duties will include:
- Overseeing day-to-day program operations.
- Supervising program staff.
- Referral Development and Community Education.
The Director of Behavioral Health/Registered Nurse (RN) must have strong demonstrated leadership/management experience in a healthcare setting, as well as strong clinical knowledge of geriatric and adult patients.
Requirements/Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Valid Indiana RN license. BSN required; MSN preferred.
- Prior management experience preferred.
- Expertise in the needs of geriatric and adult populations.
