Health Informatics Director directs an organization's clinical biostatistics or health informatics department. Oversees the analysis, management and performance of health information data to aid patient care. Being a Health Informatics Director monitors latest software and technology to keep processes up-to-date and efficient. Communicates with other departments and team members to identify new sources of data, ensure data is used effectively, and establish new initiatives. Additionally, Health Informatics Director requires a master's degree. Typically reports to senior management. The Health Informatics Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be a Health Informatics Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. As a Health Information Technician, you will be responsible for managing and organizing medical records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality. Your role will involve utilizing various software systems and analyzing data to support mental healthcare providers in delivering quality patient care.

    Responsibilities:
    · Organizing, maintaining, and safeguarding client records within EHR system

    · Review client records to ensure accuracy.

    · Process Release of Information Requests

    · Assist with monthly state reporting activities.

    · Work closely with both internal and external stakeholders on chart audits.

    · Assist with monitoring and developing business processes and workflows.

    · Serve as a Superuser in EHR.

    · Management of medical hardcopy records (i.e. filing, pulling, copying, collecting)

    · Monitor data entry for state outcome measures.

    · Pull and review medical records for MD/ARNP appointments.

    · Maintain medical record storage and supplies.

    · Administrative assistance as needed.

    Qualifications:
    · High School Diploma - Associate degree or Technical Training

    · Minimum one (1) year medical office experience

    · Experience in Electronic Health Records

    · Basic understanding of clinical workflows

    · Excellent customer skills

    · Knowledge of Microsoft office and other database software

    · Knowledge of HIPPA and other state and federal regulations

    `` Sucesssful completion of background screening

    Job Type: Full-time

    Pay: $16.00 per hour
