Health Informatics Director directs an organization's clinical biostatistics or health informatics department.     Your opportunity

    We are currently looking for an Executive Director to lead and grow our Independent Practice Association (IPA) in New England. The right candidate will have experience working directly with Independent Physicians and large Health Plans in the New England market. Your experience must include Fee-for-service and Value-based contracting which will link our IPA physicians to Health Plans serving the New England market. The Executive Director will also build strong relationships with all IPA members and connect them with Vytalize Health value-based care and physician support capabilities they may need to ensure the success of their practice. Our expectation is to build a vibrant and dynamic organization of physicians that is repeatedly served with people, process and technology that creates continuous performance improvements for the patient, practice and economic gains for our participating physicians.

    What You Will Do

    • Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to :
    • Obtaining FFS and Value-based contracts across all lines of business for our IPA members from Health Pland participating in the New England market
    • Continually growing our IPA membership – both PCP and Specialist in our markets
    • Cultivating and maintaining IPA member relationships to facilitate retention of IPA membership
    • Effectively linking our IPA membership with Vytalize Health value-based care capabilities
    • Effectively linking IPA membership with practice support capabilities required for successful practice management
    • Developing and managing IPA staff
    • Develop and manage IPA financial plan, including creating budgets, forecasting revenue and expenses.
    • Work with Chief Compliance Officer to ensure that the organization is in compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
    • Collaborate with internal care delivery leaders to develop and enhance the delivery of services to improve performance in IPA contracts.
    • Work with outside network partners to communicate contract requirements, monitor performance, and institute any process improvements.
    • Participate in and/or facilitate key committees to formulate strategies and tactics to achieve organizational objectives.
    • Engage with IPA membership to define performance (quality, cost, member experience) measures, set targets and reporting processes.
    • Building and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including members, providers, payers, and other community partners.
    • Develop new value-based care models, negotiating contracts with payers, and working with community partners to develop initiatives that improve the health of the community.
    • Evaluate performance, analyzing data related to quality, cost, and member satisfaction, as well as implementing initiatives to improve performance.

    What will make you successful here

    • Bachelor's Degree, and MHA, MBA or MPH
    • 10 years of healthcare leadership experience in New England including experience at a IPA and value based care entity
    • Knowledge of the health care industry with demonstrated knowledge of health insurance, population heath management or Accountable Care Organizations
    • Knowledge of the regulatory requirements of healthcare insurance, shared risk contracting, and risk-based payment models
    • Ability to design, develop and implement highly complex programs, products, technical systems and policies that affect the overall direction of IPA members population health strategy
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Entrepreneurial spirit, a sense of ownership and comfortable operating in ambiguity
    • Coachable and able to take direction and feedback well, yet being forward-thinking to challenge the status quo.
    • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
