The Manager, IBH is a clinician embedded within the primary care team and manager that reports to the Director, Integrated Behavioral Health. This person works directly with the medical team 50% of the time to assess individuals with behavioral health and /or substance abuse issues, and to provide brief treatment services within the clinical setting. In the clinical role, the Integrated Behavioral Health Clinician expands the team’s ability to treat persons with chronic medical issues that are complicated by lifestyle factors. Remaining 50% of time is dedicated to operation and administrative functions that aid the Department of Integrated Behavioral Health in meeting productivity, outcome and supervision goals. By utilizing a PCMH team-based model, the Manager of Integrated Behavioral Health provides the oversight of current IBH staff and training, as well as clinical services in line with organizational efforts to implement new and manage current integrated care staff throughout PCHC community health center sites.
