May require a bachelor's degree and 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Being a Health Inspector is familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on judgment and limited experience to plan and accomplish goals. Additionally, Health Inspector performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision; typically reports to a supervisor or manager. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Duties/Responsibilities:
· Travel with an Underage Purchaser; identify and verify site address provided
· Facilitate and observe undercover buys in coordination with trained Underage Purchasers
· Collect evidence of violations, such as photographs and tobacco products
· Complete compliance check inspection forms, detailing any violations, when applicable
Required qualifications/skills:
- Must maintain employment with the State of South Carolina or be employed by a city/county within South Carolina
- Reliable transportation
- Attention to detail
- Strict adherence to deadlines and privacy
- Law Enforcement employees are strongly encouraged to apply

Pay: From $24.00 per hour
