The Role Itself : A Technical Assistant at USG plays a crucial role in providing administrative and technical support to insurance professionals.
In this position, you will be a member of one or more Production teams and be responsible for tasks assigned by a Senior Production Assistant, Executive Production Assistant, Production Assistant, or designated Producer / Broker(s).
Responsibilities include : Correspondence with agents or carriers for additional information needed and handling renewal reminder letters.
Requesting company-issued endorsements. Prepping files. Binding in the Binding Portals and processing completely through our in-house system.
Consistently demonstrate a professional, positive, team-oriented attitude while performing job duties. Invoicing and typing Brokerage Endorsements.
Provide the technical and administrative assistance required to support the attainment of stated office-wide objectives in conjunction with service standards.
Providing timely and accurate customer service What We Are Looking For : At least 1 year of prior insurance experience, prior experience should include either wholesale brokerage / MGA, retail insurance agency, or insurance company experience.
Knowledge of Windows-based software applications and basic typing skills. Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Knowledge of basic P&C insurance, forms, endorsements, rating methods, and terminology is preferred.
