Healthcare IT Security Analyst

Position Summary
The Healthcare Security Analyst will work closely with the MyHealth Privacy & Security Officer to help MyHealth secure and protect private health information on a large scale and comply with all applicable security obligations and HIPAA regulations.
Key Responsibilities Include:
1. Maintain current understanding of administrative, physical, and technical safeguards which are and may be employed to protect the confidentiality, integrity and availability of electronic protected health information in an advanced statewide health information exchange.
2. Maintain current understanding of HIPAA and other security regulations applicable for health information exchange activities.
3. Maintain current understanding of applicable requirements from the HITRUST CSF R2 standard, and familiarity with other relevant cybersecurity frameworks, including NIST CSF, FedRAMP, StateRAMP, MARS-E, ARC-AMPE, NIST 800-171A, and CMMC 2.0.
4. Work closely with management and staff to maintain and advance documentation of the company’s information security management program.
5. Aid in essential security safeguarding activities including program implementation, training, auditing, monitoring, evidence collection, reporting, risk analysis, vulnerability assessments, security questionnaires, cyberliability insurance reviews, remediation, and coordination of activities among executives, staff members, vendors, and customers as directed.
6. Assist with information technology functions consistent with supporting IT needs for a remote workforce, in collaboration with other technical staff.
7. Develop and maintain technical workflows and automation leveraging various IT tools including API integrations between technical tools including Microsoft365, Vanta GRC platform, Asana, Slack, and others.
8. Assist with other technical tasks and activities in support of the mission of the organization.
9. Establish and maintain documentation of institutional knowledge acquired in this role to assist staff, management, and clients.
10. Preferred ability to assist with essential logistical IT support activities with occasional local travel in the Tulsa, OK area.
Qualifications:
Education/Experience:
1. Masters degree in Cybersecurity or related field and/or significant related work experience
2. ISC2 CISSP, CompTIA Security , ISACA CISA or similar/compatible security certification
3. Experience with information technology support, cybersecurity roles, and AWS cloud security
4. Relevant work experience relating to the job duties

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a remote position. The employee must have a private location from which to work, with Internet access and a personal smartphone with capability to be secured and have support for SMS, apps for multifactor authentication and remote hotspot (technology stipend provided to help offset costs). Some flexibility in hours is allowed, but the employee must be available during the “core” work hours of 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. CST. and must work 40 hours each week to maintain full-time status.
