    Job Description:

    The Healthcare Technology Representative Lead Supervisor serves as a Subject Matter Expert for automation & technology projects, provides support to existing technology and new operations systems, as well as support for new business implementations. He/She gathers business requirements, initiates feasibility studies, and maintains data for larger-scale operation projects, especially those involving technological enhancements. This position serves as a liaison between stakeholders, software engineers, and software users and, therefore, requires a thorough understanding of operations, as well as technology. He/She could coordinate work with other Technology Representative supervisors assigned to the new business or automation implementation.

    The Healthcare Technology Representative Lead Supervisor gathers business requirements for system changes and new Implementations to train and manage UAT (User Acceptance Testing) efforts with operations and provide approvals for the Healthcare Life Cycle Management tool. He/She should have a broad knowledge of the cGMP, Smart Solve System, TPL (Technology Project List) application, and UPS's validation processes. Consults with Quality Management Group to provide guidance and supporting data requested during investigation and support of Compliance concerns.

    Responsibilities:

    • Lead Tech Rep on automation testing methodologies and life cycles
    • Conducts survey meetings with stakeholders to clarify business requests and determine the project cost.
    • Develops Business Requirements for New Functionality
    • Attends BRD/BRV sessions to gather business requirements.
    • Provide Subject Matter Expertise on Helix and Automation Testing
    • Uses experience to determine how innovative technology projects impact operations.
    • Utilizes experience to coordinate inside operations.
    • Utilizes advanced technologies to create operational efficiencies and improve UPS service to customers.
    • Coordinates and collaborates with diverse groups on dangerous goods, DSCSA (Drug Supply Chain Security Act), cold chain, and healthcare/quality requirements.
    • Collaborates with the project team on OMS/WMS configurations (system and hardware).
    • Aids on project deliverables to ensure timelines are met.
    • Assists with validation of planned versus actual task completion to determine project impacts.
    • Distributes project status and timeline reports to identify implementation improvements and future model updates.
    • Supervises Midsize to Large Projects
    • Supervises project lifecycles, for UAT scope, resources, schedule, initiation, and deployment to see projects from beginning to end.
    • Assists in the development of project plans (i.e., detailed plan, milestones, and work breakdown structures) and assign tasks to resources to ensure on-time project completion and according to specifications.
    • Ensures affected functions or groups are identified and works with them to negotiate process changes, and ownership of processes, and to manage project impact.
    • Determines employees’ training needs to produce continuous development plans.
    • Resolves individual and group performance issues following UPS’s policies and procedures in a timely manner to motivate and foster teamwork.
    • Conducts User Acceptance Testing
    • Create test scripts to ensure applications satisfy the business requirements.
    • Reports application defects to IT (Information Technology) to ensure resolution before deployment.
    • Acts as a liaison between IE (Industrial Engineering), IT (Information Technology), Quality & Compliance, business partners, and external clients.
    • Updates the Healthcare Life Cycle Management tool with UAT Dashboard and stakeholder approvals.
    • Conducts application training to provide end users with information on the systems' functionality.
    • Conducts data mining through SQL to use for research and monitoring activities for operations and Quality & Compliance requests.

    Qualifications:

    • Thorough understanding of operations, as well as technology.
    • Broad knowledge of the cGMP, Smart Solve System, TPL (Technology Project List) application, and UPS's validation processes.

    Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $75,840/year in our lowest geographic market up to $140,580/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to, market location and may vary depending on job related knowledge, skills, and education/training and a candidate’s work experience. Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

    This position is eligible for a bonus based on company performance.
