RiverStone Group, Inc. has an immediate full-time opening for a local delivery driver / materials handler at our Building Materials location in Moline, IL.

A delivery driver is responsible for transporting and dropping off residential and commercial building materials while providing professional customer service.

This is a full-time, hourly position working 40 to 60 hours per week, 5 / 6 days per week based on season. Candidates must be dependable and available to work overtime as needed.

This position does not require over the road travel.*

Candidates must have the ability to perform heavy lifting and rigorous physical activity. We will provide training and classes to achieve your Class B CDL.

Major responsibilities include :

• Performing all duties at the highest level of safety
• Operating forklift for stocking, loading and organizing materials in warehouse as needed (up to 50%)
• Completing a thorough load check on your truck before leaving, ensuring that all delivery materials and quantities are accurate and firmly secured
• Performing vehicle pre-trip in compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations
• Adhering to assigned delivery schedule and following all job directives while prioritizing personal safety and the safety of those around you
• Treating customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Providing the customer with an invoice on completion of each delivery and collecting the entire due amount on COD deliveries
• Completing and filing all logs and required government paperwork in a precise and timely manner

The ideal candidate will have :

• High school diploma or GED
• A focus on safety and a strong work ethic
• Forklift experience / certification
• Ability to obtain and maintain valid CDL license
