Overview:
We are seeking a passionate Language Arts Teacher to join our team. As a Language Arts Teacher, you will inspire and educate students in the English language, literature, reading, and writing.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet the curriculum standards
- Teach grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, and writing skills
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning
- Assess students' progress through tests, essays, projects, and other means
- Provide constructive feedback to students and communicate with parents/guardians regarding student performance
- Stay updated on educational best practices and participate in professional development opportunitiesExperience:
- Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field; Master's degree is a plus
- State teaching certification/license in Language Arts or English
- Proven experience teaching Language Arts at the middle or high school level
- Strong knowledge of English language structure, grammar rules, literature, and writing techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students
- Familiarity with educational technology tools for enhancing learningJoin us in shaping young minds and fostering a love for language arts!
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30,000.00 - $48,341.15 per year
