Demonstrate the ability to adapt classroom environment, activities, teaching styles, behavior management practices and lesson plans to meet the needs of students with varying academic levels and learning styles.

Utilizes a variety/range of student learning modalities in each lesson and uses differentiated instruction within those lessons.

Provide ample opportunities to all students to develop 21st century skills in activities outside the classroom such as student organizations, physical activities, and service learning.

Create and implement lesson plans that utilize a variety of teaching methods, including the use of technology, direct instruction, independent study and group learning, in order to engage students and actively encourage student participation.

Maintains accurate, complete, and correct records as required by law, district policy, and administrative regulations.

Develop productive teacher-student relationships to support re-engaging students in the academic experienceDiagnose and understand student academic needs and associated credit needs to support effective instruction and efficient credit accumulationProvide active management of the daily student learning experience, anticipating barriers, and intervening to support and advance student understanding before students reach a frustration pointMonitor students overall progress developing and delivering interventions and support building understanding and course completionDevelop and maintain effective communication pathways with students, to support the ongoing student learning experience, and to effectively troubleshoot academic, attendance, or engagement issues.
