- Repairing Non-Paved Shoulders, Front Slopes, and Roadside Ditches
- Guardrail Repair
- Asphalt Repair
- Sodding
- Concrete Repair
- Delineators Replacement and Installation
- Signs Repairs and Installation
- Fence Repair
- Graffiti Removal
- Traffic Control Services
- Emergency Response
- Miscellaneous Routine Maintenance
Responsibilities:- Operate tools and small equipment and performing the day-to-day activities of Field Crews, as directed.
Highway Maintenance Technician Minimum Qualifications:- Working knowledge of typical roadway maintenance activities including operation of equipment utilized in performing the activities defined in the scope of work.
- Completion of an FDOT-approved Temporary Traffic Control Intermediate course.
- Ability to work outdoors and lift up to, but not limited to, 50 lbs.
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation, while being responsible and committed to coming to work on a daily basis.
