Description
The Ramsey County Sheriff's Office is accepting applications for a full time Patrol Deputy Sheriff & Drug Task Force Deputy. Applicants must have good public relations and communication skills and must be able to follow directives, policies, and procedures. Duties to include but not limited to enforcement of state and local criminal and traffic laws. Patrol of highways and rural areas, criminal investigations, serving of civil process and any/all law enforcement duties. Deputy Sheriff will be provided all necessary equipment to safely and efficiently perform their duties including body armor, taser, take-home patrol vehicle, uniforms, duty weapon, patrol rifle, duty belt and leather gear. Applicant will be screened and subject to background check. Applicant may be called upon and asked for an interview. Successful applicant will be on a 6-month probationary period when hired.
Minimum Qualifications
· High School Diploma
· ND P.O.S.T. licensed or licensable as a Peace Officer
· Valid ND Driver’s License with clean record
· Must live in Ramsey County
