Patrol K-9, SWAT, Code Enforcement, Accident Investigation Unit, Criminal Investigations, School Resource Officer, Community Service Unit
Starting salary is $52,577.00 annually ($24.07 an hour) with excellent benefits including paid health, dental and life insurance, 25-year retirement through State of Alabama Retirement Systems, disability income coverage, paid holidays, vacation, and sick leave, and annual merit raises based on performance. We work 12-hour day or night shifts with every other Friday, Saturday and Sunday off! We provide quality training, work with state of the art equipment, and there are opportunities for career advancement! A successful applicant must pass a psychological examination, drug test, a full driving and criminal background check, and a polygraph examination.
