Home Care Aide provides household management activities to enable patients in independence at home. Assists patient with self-administered medications and emotional supports. Being a Home Care Aide typically requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or a manager. Additionally, Home Care Aide may require CPR certified. The Home Care Aide possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Job Duties of HHA / Home Health Aide:
Schedule: Short Shifts- - 2-6 hour shifts various times/days
- Personal care; dressing and bathing
- General homemaking; cooking, cleaning, laundry
- Errands for clients; grocery store, pharmacy, etc.
- Lift and transfer clients using Gait Belt & Hoyer Lift
Job Requirements:
- Must have Driver's license, current auto insurance, or access to reliable transportation.
- Caregiver OR HHA experience
- Recent and relevant experience (Homecare or Facility Staffing).
- Current TB, Physical and Clean background check.
