Overview:
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Home Health Aides. As a Home Health Aide, you will provide essential care and support to individuals in their homes, helping them maintain their independence and improve their quality of life.
Duties:
- Assist clients with personal care tasks, such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Prepare and cook meals according to dietary restrictions and client preferences
- Administer medication as directed by healthcare professionals
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature
- Assist with medical documentation and maintain accurate records
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Assist with mobility and transfers, using proper lifting techniques
- Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry and tidying up
- Provide specialized care for clients requiring hospice care or with developmental disabilities
- Assist with catheter care, if necessary
Requirements:
- Experience in providing care for individuals with medical needs or disabilities is preferred
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain confidentiality of client information
- Ability to follow care plans and communicate effectively with healthcare professionals
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and their families
- Compassionate nature and a genuine desire to help others
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
Note: All positions must be paid including internship positions.
