Home Care Aide provides household management activities to enable patients in independence at home. Assists patient with self-administered medications and emotional supports. Being a Home Care Aide typically requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or a manager. Additionally, Home Care Aide may require CPR certified. The Home Care Aide possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Assisted Living Home Health Aide: Part time and full- time day or part- time overnights. AL Home Health Aide will provide resident care as assigned under the supervision of the licensed nurses. Communication and interactions with clients, residents, families and other team members is an essential component of this position. The AL HH Aide at times may be the only person in the building so must be able to manage resident emergencies and work independently, demonstrating good judgment toward care, safety and hospitality. The AL HH Aide will pass medications and perform other deligated nursing tasks.
