For over 25 years, we have serviced high-end clients in the St Louis area. We are seeking caring, dependable and team-oriented individuals who possess a true passion for caring for our geriatric community. We are currently hiring a Registered Nurse with two (2) or more years' experience for home health nursing shifts. Flexible scheduling available.Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing and is currently licensed RN with working knowledge of professional standards and principles.
- Two years nursing experience, preferably with hospital and geriatric experience.
- Licensed driver with a clean driving record.
- Vehicle that is currently insured.
- Cellphone with Internet and texting capabilities.
- Daily access to RNS email.
- Complete all physical and mental demands of job description
- Covid-19 vaccination preferred.
Responsibilities:- Working knowledge of home safety
- Complies with RNS policies and procedures including standards of conduct and work ethics, HIPAA policy, dress code.
- Provides care agreed upon by client, client's family and physician.
- Agrees to variable work schedules, including (some) weekend and holiday hours, and client changes.
- Complies with all state and local regulations and accreditation standards, including CPR certification.
- Has excellent writing and charting skills and prepares reports in a timely manner.
- Maintains objectivity in coping with the stress of working with acute, chronic and terminally ill clients.
- Possesses ingenuity to handle medical and situational emergencies.
- Is self-directed with the ability to work with little supervision.
- Agrees to a rotation of (some) on-call duty
