Hospital Staffing Coordinator jobs in Minneapolis, MN
Hospital Staffing Coordinator coordinates scheduling and staffing to ensure sufficient staff coverage for all shifts within a healthcare facility. Works with clinical and administrative departments to project staffing needs and achieve required staffing levels. Being a Hospital Staffing Coordinator utilizes and maintains staffing scheduling software/programs to schedule shifts, monitor staffing levels, and input related data. May perform other administrative functions as necessary. Additionally, Hospital Staffing Coordinator may be responsible for recruiting new staff. Typically requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Hospital Staffing Coordinator works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. Shift:
Full-Time: Monday-Friday, Every other weekend, and every other holiday
Part-Time: Block schedule TBD, Every other weekend and Holiday required.
Staffing Coordinator Essential Job Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities
- Ensure that the facility is adequately staffed to fulfill residents needs.
- Assist in developing, implementing and coordinating staffing procedures.
- Performs daily and monthly staffing in accordance with management instructions.
- Audits nursing personnel time accurately and timely.
- Post daily staffing requirements.
Education and Experience
- Nursing staffing processes and procedures experience Required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites
- On-Shift Scheduler experience Preferred
- ADP payroll experience Preferred
- Hospitality Experience Preferred
Supervisory Responsibility
This position does not have any direct reports or supervisory requirements.
