Hotel Resident Manager oversees daily activities on the hotel property including front desk operations, reservations, and concierge and customer services. Remains on-site and on-call to respond to issues, security threats, or hotel emergencies.   • We are looking for a qualified, energetic, goal-oriented General Manager for a Property in Tombstone, Arizona. The General Manager will be responsible for the successful operation and administration of all hotel departments.

    • Manage the hotels operation through maintaining established cost and quality standards, maximizing profits, developing, and retaining employees, and exceeding guest expectations.
    • Serve as the top property leader and interact with hotel guests, vendors, corporate leaders and staff at all times.
    • Lead, train, schedule, motivate, coach and support associates, while ensuring they perform in accordance with all brand and hotel standards.
    • Monitor property condition, cleanliness, quality of product, and service throughout the hotel by inspecting the rooms and property daily.
    • Implement sales and marketing strategies to generate new leads and maximize revenues while Performing Sales calls weekly to increase exposure and capture new and retain old business.

    Job Requirements:

    The ideal candidate should have previous successful management experience with independently owned Properties.

    • Must Be able to travel quarterly.
    • 2 Years Hotel Operations Supervisory/Management experience required
    • Knowledge in reading and understating P&Ls to include proper budget writing and expense controls.
    • Maintain a friendly, warm, and positive demeanor at all times
    • Improve market share month over month and year to year
    • Keeps leadership informed of trends, opportunities, and market changes as needed
    • Achieve or exceed budgeted goals in sales and profitability with an emphasis on maximizing occupancy and Average Daily Rate (ADR)
    • Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Assume responsibility/accountability.

    Job Type: Full-time

    Pay: $55,000.00 - $59,000.00 per year
