JOB SUMMARY: Duties include directing and supervising all work activities of housekeeping and laundry personnel. Motivate staff to perform duties in a thorough and expedient manner. Hands-on management requires supervisor to perform cleaning and laundry duties whenever assistance is needed.
QUALIFICATIONS: Native American preference. Previous hotel housekeeping experience required. Must be exceptionally neat and meticulous. Must be able to direct and supervise with good communication skills. Must have a positive attitude.
PHYSICAL, MENTAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS: Must be able to implement oral and written directions. Must be able to endure long stretches of physical activity to include bending, reaching, kneeling and stretching. Must be able to stand for a full eight (8) hour shift. Must be able to carry loads up to 30 pounds. Must be able to meet deadlines and directives of management.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Must be able to communicate well with employees and management. Must maintain high standards set by management. Direct and instruct personnel of all procedures in an efficient and safe environment. Provide staff with all necessary tools to meet or exceed the expectations of management. Must be current on all policies and procedures of the Hotel and responsibly inform personnel of such policies and procedures.
Must be able to meet the attendance guidelines of the position, adhere to and enforce all departmental and company policies, and attend all mandatory trainings. Must comply with and enforce all safety policies and rules.
