Housekeeper works to ensure offices, patient/guest rooms, facilities, and other specified areas are kept in a clean and orderly condition. Responsible for general cleaning and maintenance duties which may include: vacuuming, dusting, item washing, trash collecting and proper sorting. Being a Housekeeper may require a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Housekeeper possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Performs daily cleaning tasks for patients and resident rooms, nursing stations, lounges, restrooms, offices, clinic areas, and any other areas assigned by the Environmental Services Department.

7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS• Has customer service knowledge skills• Knows trash removal process• Knows room cleaning process• Knows on different types of cleaning such as daily, discharge, terminal and isolation• Knows how to clean restrooms in public areas versus patient rooms including showers• Has office cleaning experienceEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE• High school graduate or equivalent is preferred but not required. • Prior equivalent work experience in housekeeping, environmental services or related position is a plus.
