- Oversee and manage the daily operations of the housekeeping department
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure high standards of cleanliness and sanitation
- Train, supervise, and evaluate housekeeping staff, providing guidance and support as needed
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure efficient and effective service delivery
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ordering as needed
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with safety and cleanliness standards
- Respond promptly to guest requests or concerns, resolving issues in a timely manner
- Collaborate with management to develop and implement cost-saving initiatives
- Ordering and receiving of supplies by Management policy to ensure standards are met.
- Controlling and monitoring expenses including supplies, payroll
```Qualifications```
- Previous experience professional housekeeping experience for a minimum of two years.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning procedures
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to effectively communicate with staff, guests, and management
- Knowledge of hospitality industry standards and practices
- Understanding of custodial and industrial cleaning techniques
- Familiarity with hotel and Opera PMS operations is a plus
-Education: High school education or equivalent. Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the primary languages used in the workplace.
