As the Product Manager for Document Management, you will be pivotal in defining and leading the product strategy for our innovative document management solutions. This role involves deep collaboration with the Director of Software Engineering to ensure that product development aligns with business needs and market trends. You will be responsible for the entire product lifecycle, from conceptualization through deployment and adoption, focusing on integrating AI-driven capabilities to enhance functionality and user experience. Reporting directly to the Director – Digital Product Lead, you will also work closely with all lines of business to drive product adoption and satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop a comprehensive product strategy for the enterprise document management platform, incorporating AI technologies to meet modern business needs.
- Conduct market research and gather user feedback to identify needs and opportunities for product enhancements.
- Collaborate closely with the Director - Software Engineering (Document Management) to align technical development with product vision and customer requirements.
- Define user personas and scenarios to guide feature design and development.
- Develop and manage the product roadmap, prioritizing features based on value, complexity, and strategic importance.
- Lead cross-functional teams through product development cycles, ensuring clear communication and timely delivery of features.
- Develop and implement an Enterprise roll-out and adoption strategy, working with Product and Technology teams across all
lines of business.
- Measure and analyze product performance and user engagement to inform continuous improvement.
- Provide training and support materials for internal stakeholders to aid in the adoption and effective use of the platform.
- Represent the voice of the customer within the organization, ensuring that user needs and feedback directly influence product development.
Qualifications:
- 12 years of experience in product management, preferably within enterprise software or document management fields.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- Proven ability to develop product strategies and effectively communicate recommendations to executive management.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with product metrics and data-driven decision making.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of working with diverse teams and influencing cross-functional stakeholders.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies and leading scrum teams.
- Knowledge of AI technologies and their application in business solutions is a plus.
