AdviniaCare is searching for an HR/Payroll Manager to assume total responsibility for the HR/Payroll Department covering two facilities on beautiful Cape Cod: The Woodlands and Seashore Point. The HR/Payroll Manager works closely with the Director of HR and Payroll. The HR/Payroll Manager is responsible for all personnel benefits information including health, dental and workmen compensation cases. Is responsible for the interpretation and implementation of facility policy and procedure governing employee benefits, and payroll issues. • Inputs data from compiled worksheet to computer to generate bi-weekly payroll, discusses and corrects any errors or concerns regarding payroll on a weekly basis
• Maintains time clock, payroll records as required by law and processes any changes that take place in payrol
• Is familiar with all aspects of employee benefits including health and insurance benefits and has the ability to explain the employee handbook
• The HR/Payroll Manager oversees benefits enrollments, changes, terminations
• Oversee FMLA and PFML and workmen compensation process
• Manages new hire on-boarding, pre-employment checks and coordinates with the SDC nurse for orientation
• Performs all required documentation to comply with State and Federal guidelines
• Other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

• 2 years of demonstrated HR/Payroll experience
• Long-term care setting preferred
• Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with particular attention to confidentiality

• Occasional standing and walking with the ability to lift and carry light objects up to 15 pounds
• Typing and document handling
• Reading computer screens and documents
