Our HR Analyst is a unique blend of both analyst and technology/platform expert. You will support projects and executables across the HR functions through collaboration with Talent Management, Talent Acquisition, and Payroll and Benefits. You will also support payroll, produce scheduled reporting and other related tasks, and generally support technology-related HR projects and initiatives. During your first year, you can look forward to working on the following…
Data Entry, Analysis and Reporting:
- Accountable for the accurate entry and maintenance of HR data.
- Utilizes analytical tools and techniques to collect, analyze, and interpret HR data.
- Generates regular reports and fulfills unscheduled report requests.
- Performs biweekly payroll audits as part of routine payroll processing.
Project Management:
- Leads HR projects from discovery to completion using collaborative methods for timely delivery of accepted outcomes.
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams to enhance existing processes and implement new HR programs or initiatives.
Technical Expertise:
- Utilizes proficiency in HRIS (or similar) software to manage employee data, generate reports, and streamline HR processes.
- Conducts system audits to ensure data integrity and reporting readiness.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Serves as a trusted advisor to peers and senior managers to provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis.
- Builds strong relationships with stakeholders to understand needs and deliver effective HR solutions.
- Facilitates training to enhance HR systems utilization across the organization.
Requirements
What we are looking for…
- Bachelor's degree in a related field of study or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
- A minimum of four years of experience working with company systems in an analytical role is required, preferably working with HRIS applications (especially Paylocity) in a professional services industry.
- At least four years of relevant professional office work experience is required with a preference for project management-related experience.
- Experience with HRIS/payroll software and payroll processing is strongly preferred.
- Requires proven experience with applied problem-solving, root-cause analysis, and associated solution implementation.
- Requires strong self-start and organization skills with an emphasis on detailed accuracy and an aptitude for applying these skills in undefined settings.
- Must be highly proficient in Microsoft Office applications – must be able to utilize Excel at least at an intermediate skill level including pivot tables and VLOOKUP functions. Advanced skills are preferred.
- Absolutely must demonstrate critical thinking with the ability to analyze and translate data, draw conclusions, and make recommendations.
- Must exhibit outstanding skills in communication, follow-up, and follow-through with a strong propensity for customer service and collaborative teamwork.
- Must demonstrate strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines.
- Requires strong professionalism, ethics, confidentiality, and a high moral standard.
- Must possess strong business acumen and understanding of how individual processes impact overall operations.
- Requires excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to establish credibility and collaborate effectively with key stakeholders in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
