HRIS Clerk performs routine administrative tasks in support of the HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) group. Inputs data into a computer processing system and reviews output for accuracy. Being a HRIS Clerk generates standard reports for Human Resources or managing personnel. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Additionally, HRIS Clerk typically reports to a supervisor. The HRIS Clerk possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Under general supervision, assumes responsibility for accurate and timely entry and maintenance of employee, contingent worker, supervisory, position, and academic appointment data in the human resource (HR) enterprise system; ensures deadlines are met; professionally handles employee confidential information; provides technical support to users; analyzes data requests; produces reports; maintains procedural documentation; images employee files; provides employment verification; and performs other related duties. This is a first shift position with a work schedule of Monday - Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.
Any combination of progressively responsible related clerical office experience, related undergraduate education, and/or post high school clerical training that is the equivalent to four years of full-time employment.
Data entry experience; excellent written and oral communication skills; strong attention to detail and organization skills; ability to multitask; highly technical and able to independently solve problems; and the ability to work with and maintain confidential information preferred.
