HRIS Clerk performs routine administrative tasks in support of the HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) group. Inputs data into a computer processing system and reviews output for accuracy. Being a HRIS Clerk generates standard reports for Human Resources or managing personnel. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Additionally, HRIS Clerk typically reports to a supervisor. The HRIS Clerk possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. This position is responsible for coordinating the day to day processing of payroll, human resources and benefits information into the HRIS system. This position provides training to managers and employees on self-service capabilities, runs and creates reports as needed, conducts audits, and regularly provides suggestions for process improvement and system enhancements.
