The Jackson Laboratory is searching for an HRIS Analyst that manages and supports the compensation and benefits functional areas of the Workday HCM system. A successful candidate would perform the following duties:

Determines appropriate system configuration based on business requirements of the assigned functional areas and manages subsequent changes as business needs change to maintain best practices. Provides new and innovative alternative solutions to HCM system and application challenges when appropriate. Responsible for developing, testing and deploying new solutions to the HCM Systems. Ensures systems quality and data accuracy via regular audits of data; adheres to all change management and SOX controls for proper process and protocols.

Documents and maintains accurate and thorough end-user processes and procedures. Trains internal users, support personnel, and/or HR team members on Workday system changes and/or new procedures.

Provides support in troubleshooting system issues, system configuration changes, system upgrade testing and perform all other duties as may be required by the needs of the business.

Assists users within HR as needed to enable them to effectively utilize all HR systems. Serves as a functional backup for other Workday HCM functional areas as needed.
A Level II HRIS Analyst performs work under general supervision; handles moderately complex issues and problems. Incumbent refers more complex issues to higher-level staff. Level II Analyst possesses solid working knowledge of subject matter and may provide leadership, coaching, and/or mentoring to a subordinate group.

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, HR or related fields and 2 to 4 years of experience in reporting writing, data administration & analysis, HRIS and/or end-user training, or an associate degree and seven years’ experience.

Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills

Prior Workday experience preferred

Understanding of HR compensation and benefits functions including incentive plans is required

Proficiency in various reporting tools including but not limited to Power BI and SSRS.

Experience with relational database and object-oriented database management systems.

Ability to maintain confidentiality information, professional demeanor under pressure and effectively work with employees at all levels.

Experience in working in an agile team is a plus.
Pay Range: $55,429 - $92,802
