Capitol Broadcasting Company is looking to add an Events Administrator to our Human Resources Team. In this position you have the unique opportunity to organize and plan employee events for some of the recognizable brands in the Triangle: WRAL-TV, FOX-50, Durham Bulls, WRAL-FM and more!

This is a full-time role based in Raleigh, NC that reports to the Vice President of Human Resources.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee and monitor the employee events programs of CBC.
• Plan and organize events and calendar for the organization and manage the budget.
• Manage ticket distribution for employees and sales.
• Support sales resource team in event planning as needed.
• Develop and administer work/life and wellness programs designed to support employee needs.
• Manage employee giveaways and incentive programs.
• Assist members of the HR team as needed with other initiatives including onboarding, job fairs and other events.
• Support executive leadership as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

• Strong written and verbal communication skills; Proficiency of Microsoft Suite, including Word and Excel; Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities.
• Strong time management and planning skills required.
• Excellent ability to acclimate to culture and support employees.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Communications or related field strongly preferred.
• 5 or more years of experience in executive support, corporate event planning, and/or human resources.
