HR Administrative Assistant
This is an exciting opportunity to work within a fast paced, busy environment for Topeka's leading provider of HR consulting, recruiting, and staffing. The HR Administrative Assistant supports Certified Staffing Professionals through management of applicants and all incoming information.
HR Administrative Assistant Job Responsibilities:- Work to ensure quality and improved job placement through an efficient applicant flow process
- Meet with candidates to discuss their work skills and experience
- Conduct criminal background checks, references, and education verifications
- Answer multi-line phones and provide accurate and complete information to clientele and customers; take and distribute phone messages
- Be familiar with constantly changing job openings and job descriptions in order to qualify candidates based on skills, work history, and education as it aligns with job requirements
- Communicate with candidates that have expressed interest in opportunities advertised on the company website and job boards, and invite them in to complete the application process
- Gather information, enter data into databases, and maintain database information on candidates
- Advance and assist candidates through the application process including paperwork, computer based skill testing and video training
Qualifications:HR Administrative Assistant Job Qualifications:- Ability to successfully manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a timely manner
- Ability to communicate professionally with clients and system users
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Quick data entry speed with zero errors
- Familiarity with conducting internet research
- Confidence, professionalism, and openness to coaching
