Overall Responsibilities:

The Bilingual Human Resources Assistant supports the Operations team. This position will be responsible for providing administrative support for the department, assisting with the hiring process, scheduling new employee orientation, and training, and entering of a high volume of employment records into our HR database. This position requires a strong sense of discretion with good organization and computer skills. Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

Principal Accountabilities:

• Provide excellent customer service to all team members and applicants, including explaining company policies, benefits, and procedures
• Perform administrative work, including entering, formatting, and printing information; organizing work; answering the phone; relaying messages; maintaining equipment and supplies; maintaining files; and sorting mail for the HR Department
• Assist with the hiring process, including greeting walk-in applicants, administering pre-employment tests, coordinating and conducting interviews, conducting new hire orientation, etc.
• Conduct and support hourly recruitment
• Create and maintain accurate electronic and personnel files for Operations (hourly and salaried) employees
• Enter new hires, transfers, and terminations into HR database, and complete associated tasks with the change
• Maintain team member confidence and protect operations by maintaining a high level of confidentiality
• Provide general support with human resources functions and team members
• Plan, coordinate, and lead employee relations and engagement activities, and create flyers for such activities
• Order and deliver WIN awards for Operations; assist with service award program
• Participate and assist in organizing special projects as assigned
• Serve as backup to HR Generalist, process garnishments, pay changes, manager changes, short-term disability payments, retro payments, 401K loans, etc.
• Complete reports as requested, such as hourly and salaried openings reports, LOA report, etc.
• Complete verification of employment requests
• Maintain digital signage, mobile alerts, and applicable HUB pages
• Coordinate and administer uniform program for production team members
• Other duties as assigned
