    Foxborough Regional Charter School District (FRCS) is a unique and diverse school serving students from across Southeastern Massachusetts.?     Job Summary:  

    Reporting to the Executive Director as a member of the FRCS district’s Executive Leadership Team, the Director of Human Resources provides leadership for the district and the HR team, and the development of human resource policies and procedures that support a positive culture and diverse workforce, ensures high quality staffing and retention of district and school personnel, as well as compliance with legal standards and state and federal requirements applicable to the district.  

    Specific Responsibilities:  

    • Supervise the Human Resources team  
    • Develop and implement recruitment/retention strategies for district educator and staff roles 
    • Represent issues related to Human Resources and employee needs, as well as larger strategic issues, on the district’s Executive Leadership Team  
    • Liaison with the Board of Trustees on issues related to Human Resources and employee needs 
    • Review employment and working conditions to ensure legal compliance 
    • Support principals, other school leaders and hiring managers with strategies for hiring a strong, diverse workforce  
    • Analyze and report on hiring and employee relations statistics  
    • Develop and maintain current job descriptions for roles in the district 
    • Collaborate with leaders of the FRCS Teachers’ Association to support issues related to collective bargaining and supporting FRCS educators 
    • Develop and implement, with instructional leaders, an onboarding and support program for new educators  
    • Develop and oversees district-wide policies that are fair and equitable  
    • Ensure employees are treated with fairness, respect and dignity  
    • Communicate relevant Human Resources information to all staff  
    • Develop and implement, with district leaders, an equitable, research-based employee salary and benefits scale and program 
    • Liaison with outside counsel as needed for employment and labor related concerns 
    • Ensure compliance with applicable State and Federal employment laws and regulations  
    • Keep current of laws, regulations and policies that impact the district in personnel matters  
    • Oversee annual state compliance reporting

    • Demonstrated commitment to an anti-bias, anti-racist workplace and educational organization 
    • Attend school building and district meetings to promote communication and mutual decision making among the staff 
    • Regular attendance is a necessary and essential function of this role, and the director should be rarely absent or late unless the situation is of an emergency nature 
    • Responsible for implementing other job-related duties as needed and assigned 

    Qualifications- Required: 

    • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or Education 
    • 3 years experience as Human Resources Director or Senior Administrator 
    • Candidates are subject to background checks including CORI Clearance and Fingerprinting.  
    • Current authorization to work in the United States - Candidates must have such authorization by their first day of employment.  

    Qualifications- Preferred: 

    • Education: Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Education or related field 
    • Experience working in an urban school district and/or charter school district 
    • Experience working in a school district collective bargaining context  
    • Proficiency in multiple languages, reflecting our diverse student and family population 

    Work Environment & Physical Requirements: 

    • Majority of work is performed in an office/school environment.? The noise level in the environment is usually moderate.  
    • While performing the duties of this job the staff member is periodically required to stand, walk, lift, or carry, while talking and listening.?  

    District Staff - 12 months Non-Licensed Position, Full-Time 

    Salary Range 115,000 -145,000
