Human Resources Manager develops human resources policies and programs and directs the staff in managing and implementing programs that support employee engagement, productivity, and company objectives. Manages key HR functions, including recruiting, employee/labor relations, health and safety, compensation, benefits, training, diversity, payroll, and employee records. Being a Human Resources Manager develops and delivers internal staff communications. Evaluates, selects, and manages relationships with vendors to provide supplemental HR processes and services. Additionally, Human Resources Manager maintains employee records of pay, benefits, accidents, performance, and other activities and files reporting required to comply with labor laws and regulations. Salary range: $75,000 - $90,000 annually
Schedule: Full time, Monday - Friday, primarily during standard business hours
Location: 37 Grove Street, San Francisco. Fully in-person for the first three months, then option to work remotely one day per week.

Responsibilities:
The People and Culture Manager ensures that Compass staff have the resources and training they need to do their jobs well. They work closely with the HR Director and HR Assistant to make sure that our Human Resources processes run smoothly, that everyone’s questions get answered, and that we maintain compliance with policies and regulations. They also lead our Performance Management efforts and develop staff trainings on HR-related topics.
