We are seeking an experienced HR Manager to join our team! We strive to create a world where children and adults with mental/behavioral health diagnoses are seen, heard, understood, and accepted. Our goal is to consistently create better lives and communities.
Tums Family Services offers a part-time ( 3 days a week) flexible work week for this position.
The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on Employee Engagement, process improvement, and Talent Acquisition.
JOB SUMMARY:
The Human Resources Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing the human resources functions of the clinic.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Manages strategic recruitment and retention plans to meet the needs of the clinic for administrative, professional, and intern staffing.
- Counsels staff and employees to assist in the resolution of concerns and grievances.
Advises staff of appropriate resolution of grievances.
- In collaboration with the Leadership team, develop and update human resource policies and procedures.
- Maintains human resources data to ensure up-to-date information across systems.
- Identifies and develops processes in need of improvement in collaboration with management teams for all Human Resource areas.
- Provides guidance to the management team (coaching, career development, and disciplinary actions).
- Manages all Human Resource projects such as ACA, 401k Audits, Worker’s
Compensation Audits, Performance Evaluations, and Open Enrollment.
- Contributes to the team, utilizes team resources, supports team decisions, and maintains positive working relationships with all team members.
- Maintains up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and employment legislation; ensures compliance with local, state, and federal labor laws and regulations.
- Other projects as required.
EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in a human resource management position is required.
- PHR or SPHR certification is highly preferred.
- Knowledgeable of state and federal employment law.
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Strong computer skills, including a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and
HRIS systems.
- Must successfully pass the clinic’s required background check.
