HVAC Supervisor supervises and coordinates the operations, maintenance and service repairs on heating, ventilating, and air conditioning systems. Oversees the installation of new units and replacement parts and ensures work is completed according to company, product, or engineering specifications and established safety guidelines. Being an HVAC Supervisor conducts quality testing and inspections. May authorize equipment, supplies, parts, or repairs purchases. Additionally, HVAC Supervisor may require a bachelor's degree. Requires an HVAC Mechanical State License and EPA Section 608 Certification (CFC). Typically reports to a manager. The HVAC Supervisor supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. To be an HVAC Supervisor typically requires 3 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. - Provides excellent customer service through timely customer interaction, problem resolution or escalation with effective and efficient follow-up.
- Promptly responds to customer inquiries via phone, email, or fax with courtesy in a professional demeanor
- Processes customer requests for pricing, information, and availability regarding products
- Processes customer orders for products both in stock and special order
- Coordinates scheduling of customer deliveries as needed
- Follows up with customers regarding special orders, back orders, and will calls as needed
- Performs general warehouse work as directed, including working in any and all departments within the branch
- Processes customer warranties and returns in a timely manner
- Adheres to procedures related to inventory control, checking and double-checking merchandise coming in and leaving the branch, and proper reporting of errors
What do we need from you?Preferred Job Requirements
- High School diploma or its GED equivalent and some college in business, sales, or related field
- 5 or more years’ experience with customer service and related functions.
Minimum Job Requirements
- High School or its GED equivalent
- 2 or more years’ experience with customer service and related functions.
- Demonstrated knowledge of MS Office suite applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Aptitude for mathematical operations and numerical analysis.
