HVAC Supervisor jobs in Ogden, UT
HVAC Supervisor supervises and coordinates the operations, maintenance and service repairs on heating, ventilating, and air conditioning systems. Oversees the installation of new units and replacement parts and ensures work is completed according to company, product, or engineering specifications and established safety guidelines. Being an HVAC Supervisor conducts quality testing and inspections. May authorize equipment, supplies, parts, or repairs purchases. Additionally, HVAC Supervisor may require a bachelor's degree. Requires an HVAC Mechanical State License and EPA Section 608 Certification (CFC). Typically reports to a manager. The HVAC Supervisor supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. To be an HVAC Supervisor typically requires 3 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Representative duties include :
- Serving as a member of the Installation Department teams which are organized to conduct HVAC installation jobs in an efficient and timely manner.
- Performing HVAC installation activities without direct oversight or on-site assistance.
- Performing related duties as directed by the Installation Manager.
Job Qualifications :
- High school graduate and graduate of a post-secondary HVAC program of instruction of two or more years in duration.
- Good oral and reading skills, including the ability to read and apply manufacturers' installation instructions and clearly communicate with residential, commercial, and industrial customers, suppliers, and other Rentmeister employees.
- Physical ability to perform all duties noted above under the conditions, circumstances, and extreme weather conditions existent in (state).
- Interest and initiative in maintaining his / her HVAC skills through a combination of self-study, company training, manufacturers' workshops, and other professional development activities.
- Current Drivers license
- Must have a good driving record
- Ability to work efficiently given time pressures, non-standard schedule, and overtime as needed
- Complete and pass pre-employment drug screen and background check

This is a full time position, day shift, Monday through Friday with occasional overtime
Compensation depends on skills and experience
