Hydraulic Technician troubleshoots, diagnoses, repairs, reconditions, and services all hydraulic machines, systems, and components. Communicates findings and recommendations to customer and management. Being a Hydraulic Technician must be proficient in basic cylinder assembly and teardown skills. Typically requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Additionally, Hydraulic Technician typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Hydraulic Technician possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Technician II-Production is responsible to test, troubleshoot, repair, and modify the production of
assigned products, parts, equipment, and systems under limited direction, in support of high-volume
low-mix production test operations.
Required Skills: -Minimum 2 years' experience in related field-Extensive knowledge of methods and procedure in troubleshooting, circuitry or mechanical characteristics as related to area of assignment and ability to devise and adapt; -Familiarity with product flow through a manufacturing or repair environment; - - - Working knowledge of computer systems
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 3-5 years of experience in a related field, or equivalent educational experience
- 3- 5 years of experience with hydraulic testing and set-up
- 1-year experience with ATP
- 1-year experience manual and mechanical testing
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:-Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods
-Knowledge of practical application of engineering electronics, science, and technology including applying principles, techniques, procedures, and equipment to the design and production of various goods and services
-Knowledge of circuit boards, processors, chips, electronic equipment, and computer hardware and software, including applications and programming
