Utilizes available resources to conduct technical research. Additionally, Hydraulic Technician, Sr. requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Field Service Hydraulic Technician will perform routine, preventative maintenance and repairs on hydraulic equipment and maintain a variety of mechanical equipment. Preventative maintenance should be conducted in accordance with manufacturer’s recommendations. The main responsibility of this role is to troubleshoot and perform diagnostics on malfunctioning high tonnage jack systems, determine possible causes for malfunctions, and perform repairs.

Physical requirements must be met for the Field Service Hydraulic Technician jobs, including the ability to lift, carry and maneuver items up to 50 pounds, including bulky objects. These positions require repeated reaching, standing, stooping, kneeling, bending and climbing beside, onto, and under a variety of equipment.
