Hydraulic Technician, Sr. troubleshoots, diagnoses, repairs, reconditions, and services all hydraulic machines, systems, and components. Communicates findings and recommendations to customer and supervisor. Being a Hydraulic Technician, Sr. must be proficient at handling cylinders, pumps, motor and valve components, and with advanced hydraulic systems. Utilizes available resources to conduct technical research. Additionally, Hydraulic Technician, Sr. requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Hydraulic Technician, Sr. works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment
- Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues
- Conduct inspections to ensure equipment is functioning properly
- Collaborate with other team members to complete repair projects
- Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair work
- Provide excellent customer service to internal and external clients
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of hydraulic and electrical and precision measuring instruments
- Ability to maintain and repair high voltage equipment 480V 3 phase and below
- Experience as an industrial electrician or industrial mechanic
- Proficiency in English, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
