Rill Foods is seeking a reliable, motivated manager to join our growing organization. In this position, you will utilize your experience, leadership, and communication skills to help direct a small team of 4-8 people. You must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines to produce quality products safely and cost-effectively while preserving a positive attitude. You'll be involved in the pre-production (planning) stage as well as the production (control and supervision) stage.
We are building a new warehouse and updating our packaging to expand production capabilities. We are looking for a long-term employee to grow with us over the next three years and beyond.
This position includes at least 25 hours of hands-on production work per week. The other 15-20 hours are spread between ordering, training, machinery prep, warehouse upkeep and procedure development.

Responsibilities:
1. Oversee production processes from start to finish, including scheduling, task assignment, and resource allocation, without requiring constant supervision from upper management.
2. Demonstrate proactive leadership by independently identifying operational challenges and implementing solutions.
3. Ensure production staff adhere to SOPs and safety regulations. Take corrective actions as needed and provide ongoing support and training to ensure understanding and compliance.
4. Conduct daily huddles with production staff to review production goals, address any immediate concerns or challenges, and provide ongoing training and development opportunities.
5. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse. Monitor inventory levels, storage conditions, and material handling practices to ensure safe and efficient work environment.
6. Build strong relationships with the production team through regular communication, feedback, and recognition, fostering a positive work environment and promoting high employee morale and retention rates.
7. Take initiative to set and achieve personal and team production targets within designated timeframes, proactively monitoring progress and adjusting strategies as needed to meet or exceed key performance indicators (KPIs).
8. Collaborate effectively with upper management, sharing insights, soliciting feedback, and seeking guidance as needed to drive continuous improvement and achieve business objectives.
9. Act as a role model for adherence to company values and culture, promoting a culture of accountability, integrity, and excellence in all aspects of production operations.
