Additionally, Import/Export Supervisor resolves issues and expedites solutions with clients, customs officials, and shippers. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Import/Export Supervisor supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. To be an Import/Export Supervisor typically requires 3 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. The Supervisor is responsible for assisting the Store Manager and Assistant Manager in all aspects of the store operation, financial performance, personnel management, all front end cash register operation, floor and visual processes and procedures, loss prevention and enforces all company policies and procedures. The Supervisor is also responsible for additional tasks as assigned to them but not limited to, training others, and assisting as needed to ensure that the store is successfully meeting expectations.
All Supervisors will be cross trained in the four main areas of Processing, Cashiering, Sales Floor and Visual Merchandising.
