Job Summary:

The Operations Manager will oversee and manage a team of highly skilled employees capable of troubleshooting and repair of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical as well as manual machining and welding, OD grinding and fabrication. It is imperative that this individual has an in-depth knowledge of light gauge metal slitting equipment.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• Trains and manages employees.
• Oversees the daily workflow and assignments.
• Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations.  

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Plan, organize, direct, troubleshoot, and run optimum day-to-day operations to exceed our customers’ expectations.
• Oversee the hiring, onboarding, training, and development of personnel.
• Ensure adherence to safety, legal, and company rules and regulations.
• Implement improvements and modifications to existing operations, systems, and procedures for improved efficiency and quality.
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders and departments for the development and implementation of strategies and plans.
• Lead the planning and execution of project schedules to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay.
• Continually train, mentor, and develop team members to enhance performance, productivity, and work satisfaction.
• Oversee maintenance of the plant, inventory, equipment, vehicles, and property.
• Ensures that inventory and supplies are warehoused correctly.
• Notifies the owner of equipment problems.
• Ensures that employees comply with applicable safety regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Approve employee time sheets and complete required paperwork.
• Sourcing and ordering parts.
• Collaborate with vendors and customers.
• Lead weekly team meeting.
• Contribute to projects and assist in problem solving alongside your team.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements: 

• Must be able to work on-site.
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds at a time.

Job Requirements

• 1st shift, 8-hour per day, Monday to Friday
• 40-hours per week
• Occasional overtime and weekends

Compensation

• Starting at $38 - $45 / hour based on experience.
