Come and join the White Oak of Shelby nursing team! White Oak Shelby is a beautiful 160-bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility. We are currently seeking to fill our Full-time Treatment/Infection Control Registered Nurse position. This position typically works Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm.

The purpose of this position is to follow facility policies and procedures to implement wound treatment protocol; review and recommend resident wound treatment needs and take appropriate action and to participate in supervision of care provided to residents.

Qualifications: Active RN license in good standing with board of nursing. Knowledge of infection control, epidemiology, quality improvement, adult education principles and microbiology required. (NC) attendance of Spice Statewide Program for Infection Control and Epidemiology training preferred.

QUALIFICATIONS: Graduate of a state approved school of Nursing. Current and active RN license in the state of residence. Must be in good physical and mental health and must be kind, considerate, understanding and enjoy working with elderly people. Must possess skills necessary for acting as charge nurse or Supervisor on a given unit, when assigned. Must be able to work well with all levels of personnel.
