You will be completing structural design/analysis, 3D modeling, drafting/design on industrial projects featuring steel, concrete, masonry, and light gauge metal construction. You will work on various design tasks such as modeling and analysis of structures and foundations, developing design drawings, assisting in preparation of specifications, coordinating with owner and contractors through construction, designing equipment support structures, and much more.Type: Direct Hire - Full timeLocation: Rogers, AR - OnsiteBenefits: Medical, dental, vision, life, 401K, PTO, and sick days.As a Structural Engineer you will:• Prepare design calculations, drawings, specifications, proposals, and construction cost estimates for a wide variety of construction and retrofit applications.• Modeling and analysis of structures and foundations using RISA 3D, RISA Foundation, RISA Connection, Hilti Profis.o New construction and retro fit applications.o Required Knowledge of IBC, ASCE-7, AISC 360, ACI 318 etc.• Oversee development design drawings with the help of drafting/design staff in Autodesk Revit, and Auto CAD.• Preparation of specifications for civil/structural trades for projects.• Coordinate with owner and contractor through construction.o Shop drawing review and approval.o RFI’s.o Inspections and site visits.• Design of equipment support structures for process equipment.• Design of foundations for pre-engineered metal buildings, large equipment, radial cranes, sub-steel structures.• Familiarity with all conventional shallow and deep foundation systems.• Design of masonry and light framed construction office buildings and MCC rooms.• Work as team leader over design coordinator and drafting personnel on large projects.• Collaborate with architects, designers, and building contractors on design and construction of projects.
Requirements
Our skills and experience wish list includes:• Bachelor of Science in Civil or Structural Engineering from ABET accredited university.• NCEES Licensed Professional Engineer – Civil/Structural.• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.• Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, RISA or similar structural design software.• Available for intermittent overnight travel.Benefits
