We are currently hiring a Field Support Engineer, who has prior Field Engineer for voice and networking solutions Below is the complete job description:

SUMMARY: We are looking for a skilled Field Engineer to provide technical support and expertise to our clients in the field. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of Information Technology, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a customer-focused mindset. The Field Engineer will be responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving technical issues, as well as providing on-site training and support to clients.

PRIMARY DUTIES:

• Conduct on-site installation, maintenance, and repair of servers, switching, firewall and access points.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues reported by clients in a timely and efficient manner.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex technical problems and escalate issues as needed.
• Provide technical training and support to clients on the use and maintenance of desktop and mobile applications.
• Document all work performed, including troubleshooting steps, solutions implemented, and any relevant client interactions.
• Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements and provide recommendations to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service while interacting with clients and representing the company on-site.
• Stay current with industry trends, technology advancements, and best practices to continuously improve skills and knowledge.

REQUIRED EDUCATION:

Bachelor s degree in computer science or equivalent work experience.

EXPERIENCE:

• Strong technical background with expertise in servers, switching, firewall and access points.
• Proficient in troubleshooting and problem-solving techniques.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively interact with clients and internal teams.
• Proven ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

LANGUAGE SKILLS: English

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 2-5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in information technology.
• Willingness to travel to client sites as needed.
• Certifications such as Microsoft, Cisco and Fortinet are a plus.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: Remotely or at client site.

EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm, occasional Saturday/Sunday or after hours dependent on client needs.

TRAVEL: Frequent local travel to client locations to service client sites.
