INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY GENERALIST performs overall information systems planning, implementation and administrative procedures in a variety of IT functional areas. Provides operational infrastructure support, maintenance, troubleshooting to ensures optimum utilization of IT resources. Being an INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY GENERALIST may be involved in hardware/software/vendor selection, security, training, coordination and scheduling of IT initiatives. Requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY GENERALIST typically reports to a supervisor. The INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY GENERALIST occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. - Must be a current Pennsylvania licensed Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) with a minimum of an Associate of Applied Science degree in Veterinary Technology from an AVMA accredited institution or a current Pennsylvania licensed Veterinarian.
- 5 years of professional experience in the veterinary field
- Teaching experience in veterinary medicine, veterinary technology or related field is preferred;
- Clinical and/or handling experience with small animals, avians, and large animals is preferred
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office
- Valid PA Driver’s License may be required;
- Current (within one year) Criminal (State and FBI) background check and Child Abuse Clearances
- Assist students to develop skills which will enhance student ability to obtain and maintain employment
- Develop appropriate of course materials and aids including total written curriculum, lesson plans, instruction sheets, visual aids, and other related materials
- Work with the Occupational Advisory Committee and student organizations to further learning goals
- Acts in concurrence with the PA Professional Code of Conduct
- Daily patient care (canine and feline) may be necessary

Position Summary:
The purpose of the position of the Adjunct Veterinary Instructor is to provide theoretical and hands-on instruction to students in activities and competencies designed to promote social, intellectual and employment growth and to meet graduation requirements that lead to gainful employment. The Instructor will be responsible for developing and conducting learning programs and associated materials for students with the goal of producing entry-skilled and employable students.

Rate: $30.75/hour
Schedule: Fall Term 2023 - Monday - Friday 9am – 12pm and labs on Tuesdays, & Thursdays 1pm - 3pm. Future terms TBD
