    Job Overview
    Sequel Med Tech is seeking a talented and experienced IT Manager to join our team. The IT Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our IT infrastructure, systems, and services to ensure seamless operations and support our company's growth and innovation initiatives. Reporting directly to the Senior Director, IT and Infrastructure, the IT Manager will play a crucial role in implementing and managing technology solutions that align with the company's strategic objectives and regulatory requirements.

    Job Responsibilities and Essential Duties
    • Develop and implement IT strategies, policies, and procedures to support the company's overall business objectives.
    • Manage and maintain the company's IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, systems, and security measures.
    • Oversee the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of hardware, software, and cloud services across the organization.
    • Lead a team of IT professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance management to ensure high levels of productivity and collaboration.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify technology needs, evaluate solutions, and implement new systems or upgrades.
    • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards, including HIPAA, GDPR, and industry best practices for data security and privacy.
    • Develop and manage IT budgets, forecasts, and procurement processes to optimize resource allocation and cost-effectiveness.
    • Monitor IT performance metrics, analyze trends, and implement improvements to enhance reliability, efficiency, and scalability.
    • Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to resolve IT issues and minimize downtime for end-users.
    • Stay current with emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in the medical device industry and IT field, and recommend opportunities for innovation and improvement.
    Minimum Requirements
    • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred; advanced degree or certifications (e.g., CISSP, CCNA, ITIL) strongly preferred.
    • 7 years of experience in progressive IT management roles, preferably in the healthcare or medical device industry.
    • Proven track record of successfully leading IT teams and managing complex projects from conception to implementation.
    Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
    • Strong technical expertise in Office 365 Administration, SharePoint, MS Defender, SSO, networking, infrastructure, systems administration, and cybersecurity.
    • Experience implementing SAAS solutions like KnowBe4, Jamf, Jitbit, Avepoint, ect.
    • Experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure), virtualization technologies, and enterprise software applications a plus.
    • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and professional development in the rapidly evolving field of IT and healthcare technology.
