Position Overview
Join our dynamic Data and Artificial Intelligence Platform team, a critical component of our technology organization. In this role, you will leverage our extensive data assets to provide valuable insights and services to our clients. Key Responsibilities
As a Staff Engineer, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Conducting data aggregations with a focus on metadata management and GenAI use cases.
- Contributing to both strategic and tactical planning to advance our platform’s vision.
- Developing tools and automation processes for real-time data management, access, deployment, and monitoring.
- Engaging with product and business owners to assess the feasibility of technical designs and outline the roadmap for success.
- Collaborating with senior team leads on technical roadmaps while identifying and resolving technical challenges.
- Working closely with various teams, including product owners and business partners, to clarify business requirements.
Qualifications
To be considered for this role, candidates should meet the following qualifications:
- 5 years of relevant work experience with a bachelor’s degree, or 2 years of experience with an advanced degree (e.g., Masters, MBA, JD, MD), or no experience with a PhD.
- Preferred: 6 years of relevant work experience with a bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, or 4 years with a master’s degree, or 3 years with a PhD.
- Strong troubleshooting skills, with experience in implementing and supporting real-time systems.
- Proficiency in web service standards (REST, gRPC) and familiarity with RDBMS and NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, DB2, Redis, Cassandra).
- Expertise in developing large-scale, enterprise-class distributed systems focused on high availability, low latency, and data consistency.
- Experience with Big Data technologies, such as Hadoop, Spark, Flink, and MapReduce.

Compensation And Benefits
The estimated salary range for this position is \(155,300 to \)225,300 per year, with considerations for knowledge, skills, experience, and location. This role may also be eligible for bonuses and equity, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, 401(k), life insurance, paid time off, and wellness programs.
